Privacy policy
Your data, plainly.

1. Who we are
Studio Draft is made by Løwe Interactive, an independent developer based in Denmark. Løwe Interactive is the data controller for the personal data described here.
Contact: support@loweinteractive.com
Because we're based in Denmark, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act apply to everyone who uses this website, wherever you live.
When this policy mentions an "article", it means an article of the GDPR. Article 6 lists the legal reasons for handling personal data: 6(1)(a) is your consent, and 6(1)(b) is an agreement with you. You can read the official text of the GDPR on EUR-Lex, the EU's law website.
2. Visiting this website
- No cookies, analytics or tracking. We don't use advertising, analytics or social media trackers.
- Fonts are hosted on this site. Your browser doesn't contact Google or any other font service.
- Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
- Hosting. The website is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web server, GitHub processes your IP address to deliver the pages and may keep it in security logs. See GitHub's privacy statement.
3. The waitlist
- What we collect
- Your email address, the time you signed up, and a record of what you agreed to.
- Why
- To email you when Studio Draft is released. We don't send newsletters or marketing from this list.
- Legal basis
- Your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
- How long we keep it
- Until you ask us to remove you, or at the latest 6 months after Studio Draft's public release. Then we delete the list.
4. The tester program
- What we collect
- Your name or nickname, email address, the description you choose of yourself, the computers you can test on, and anything you choose to fill in about what you write, the software you use, your languages and what you'd like to test. We also store the time you applied and a record of what you agreed to. Later, we keep the bug reports and feedback you send us.
- Why
- To pick testers, send you test builds and instructions, and use your feedback to improve Studio Draft.
- Legal basis
- Your consent (article 6(1)(a)), and, once you're accepted, our agreement with you under the tester terms (article 6(1)(b)).
- How long we keep it
- Until you leave the program or ask us to delete it, or at the latest 6 months after the tester program ends. We may keep feedback longer if we remove anything that identifies you.
5. Services we use
We never sell your data, show you ads, or use it for profiling. A small number of services process it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. runs the spam check on the sign-up page (Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and basic browser information while the page is open), receives the form when you press send, and passes it on to our storage. We don't store your IP address or browser details.
- GitHub, Inc. stores sign-ups in a private repository that only Løwe Interactive can access, and hosts this website.
Both companies are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If we start using an email service to send release or tester emails, we'll name it here before we use it.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it, or remove you from a list;
- limit how we use it, or stop using it;
- withdraw your consent. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Email support@loweinteractive.com from the address you signed up with. We answer within one month.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, or to the data protection authority where you live.
7. Age limits
You must be 16 or older to join the waitlist and 18 or older to join the tester program. If we learn that someone younger has signed up, we delete their data.
8. The Studio Draft app
Studio Draft is designed to work offline. Your scripts are saved on your own computer, and you don't need an account to write. This policy covers the website and the sign-up lists. If a future version of the app ever handles personal data, we'll describe it here first.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects data we already hold about you, we'll email you first.
